About the Trek: We have options of path, depending on the group type and size, while most of the trek is through dense jungles. No one knows the who, when & why is an image of Mother Mary installed in a huge boulder a midst dense jungles. Between Mahabaleshwar in the North & Kudremukha in the South this place is highest point in the Western Ghats at 3300 ft asl. And after all this, its time to have a great shower under the 50+ feet Bhatwada Waterfall.
If natural circumstances provide, you can have the marvelous experience of Rappelling down through the water of this waterfall. Total Trekking distance can be 3 to 12 kms depending on the requirements. Motorable distance is about 30 kms from Belgaum and about 90 kms from Panjim.
